What are the wedding event and time details?

We recommend everyone comes on time. The event starts at 5pm, with live music and a cocktail welcome reception. We will have a short wedding ceremony at 6pm, with dinner and dancing reception immediately after. All food and cocktails are complementary.

Where do we park?

We strongly recommend taking an Uber, but if you need to park there are two parking self-pay parking garages within walking distance, one is called Laurel Street Parking (1025 W Laurel St. San Diego, CA 92101) or Aladdin Parking (2548 Kettner Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101), both are 24 hours.

Is the event indoor or outdoor?

The cocktail hour will be outside in front of the venue, the wedding, dinner, and dancing will be inside. There are garage door walls that will be open for plenty of ventilation.

How close is the venue from the airport and your home?

The venue is in Little Italy, which is adjacent to the Gaslamp (downtown). It is 5-10 mins from the airport and 5 miles from our house.

Are we going to multiple venues for the wedding and reception?

All festivities are in one location and back to back.

What is the dress code?

We are asking everyone to dress to impress. We do hope to see you on the dance floor, since we will be there often, so bring shoes you will be comfortable in. There will not be a coat or bag check, so carry light.

Is there a registry?

Although your presence is enough, we are asking for support on the Wedding Fund. See the registry section for details for Venmo, or cash or check options.

Can anyone come to the Beach party the next day after the wedding?

Yes, everyone is welcome to hand at the beach on Sunday, August 20. The location will be discussed at the wedding. The beach day is bring-your-own, and we will have smores into the evening.

Where can we stay?

San Diego has various Airbnb and many boutique and chain hotels. The closest hotels are downtown Gaslamp and in Little Italy proper. Check out the travel section for hotel details on website.

Are we welcome at the rehearsal dinner?

Absolutely, the wedding party will be in an reserved area outside at back of venue, for those outside of the wedding party we are asking you to self-pay and self-reserve. Hope to see you there.

Can I bring my child to the event?

Although we would love children dancing the night away with us, due to limited space we are asking this to be an adult only event. If you are coming from out-of-town please call us for childcare details.

Can we take photos or videos?

We are asking for it to be unplugged, however we know that you will want to take pictures, and we want you to have fun, so we will have an cabana for you to take your selfies and group shots and understand you will want to take other shots. If you do take pictures and post, we are asking you to use the hashtags #YandJenniferwedding2023 #allweneedisloveandyou2023. Try to save posting of the actual ceremony or pictures of us until after we post, we want to be the first, especially for family that couldn't make the event ;).

What if we need to get ahold of you?

For the most part you all have our cell phone, but just in case Y - 619-957-4247 & Jennifer 619-952-4322. On the event day, if you have questions or need support you can call our day of coordinator, Kurt at 646-369-6490
